How would it feel to be proud of your progress this time next year?

Over the past few weeks, my team and I had the opportunity to converse with dozens of brilliant women. One of the things that truly stuck out to me was that so many of them have high degrees of accountability to everything and everyone except themselves.

You make sure that your home is running smoothly. You look after your kids. You step in to help your parents. You work extra hours to make your boss look good.

You say “yes” to being everyone’s everything, but then say “next time” or “maybe later” to the things concerning you.
