MEET THE
FOUNDER OF
GRIT+GRACE WITH CHERYLE

I walked corporate hallways and sat in boardrooms where I was often the only woman and woman of color. As a C-suite executive at a global aviation company, CEO of the Chicago Urban League, candidate for U.S. Senate, communications director for an Illinois Governor, and a VP at National Public Radio, I learned how to convert the obstacles and challenges that women face every day into wins for the company and for my career success. 

Today, I am the CEO of MyOwnDoctor, a groundbreaking telehealth company.

In my intimate TEDx Talk “Grit and Grace,” I validate the career trajectories of go-getters like myself, but also implore women to self-advocate and practice grace and love in action toward self as a sustainable model of success. The overwhelming response to this message led me to consider ways to serve women on a broader scale. Hence, Grit + Grace Day was born.
